Tai Chi Girl

Explanation:
This time, i thought a lot about how to do something new and in vector, so i remind i love Chinese and Japaneses culture, and i started drawing a sketch on paper.
The background is a chinese style pound and i decided to put a character with tai chi posture and a fan in her hand
I drew the character face singly in order to focus on her style, her face and her clothes ^^
I made a more japanese style women for the face and the hair (i was a bit inspired by the geisha style too ^^)
When i decided to make the vector, i chose to use only warm colors and mainly orange tones

Tools:
Pencil and paper for the sketches
Adobe Photoshop CS2 for the vector

Method:
Many shapes with the pen tool
For the clothes i put a pattern i like.

Time:
About 3-5 hours for the sketches.
About many hours for the vectoring.
